The disappearance of Washington Post journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, has put a strain on the United States’ relationship with Saudi Arabia.  Ambassador James Oberwetter served as U.S. Ambassador in Saudi Arabia from 2004 to 2007 and discusses the long relationship between the two countries.

Earlier this week, a caravan from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras traveled towards the US-Mexico border, some of them turning around halfway through the trip.  FOX News Radio’s Washington Correspondent Rachel Sutherland spoke with FOX’s Griff Jenkins who is on the border in McAllen, Texas.

The Treasury Department released the annual report for the fiscal year, showing a 779 billion dollar deficit, a 17 percent increase from last year.  Maya MacGuineas, President of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, explains why the budget deficit matters.

With under 20 days until midterm elections it’s still unclear which political party will come out on top.  Political Editor for National Journal,  Josh Kraushaar is in Southern California and discusses some exciting key races to watch leading into Election Day.
