“Peña is a really smart guy, we have known each other for a sometime. He is the president of his country, he is proud of his country, he knows he has challenges and he needs America…I think it is wise when you stand up and say listen, lets meet… Enrique and Donald can sit down and they can reconcile some differences that will be good for Mexico and be good for America.”

Perry on why he is joining Dancing With The Stars

(PERRY) My daughter is getting married in October so that was kind of a secondary reason to say yes to Dancing With The Stars.

(Kilmeade) What do you mean?

(PERRY) I have to dance with my daughter so I don’t want to embarrass myself in front of our wedding crowd but the first reason and the most important one is this give me a great platform to talk about veterans issues and our military. These young men and women come home and the federal government is failing them all too often. I just want to share stories about veterans, what wonderful people they are, the sacrificial way they serve and put some personal faces on these folks.
