The FAA Proposes Rules For Drones [VIDEO]

As small drones become a part of everyday life, the FAA is unveiling plans to regulate them.
FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington.
Among the proposed rules — keeping drones within sight of operators at all times… New York Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer thinks the agency is off to a good start on drones.
(Schumer)”They do lots of good things. We’ve got to be careful when it comes to safety and to privacy.”
Operators would have to fly drones at less than 500 feet and also — no nighttime flights — which could mean late-night drone pizza deliveries are out.
The final regulations could still be a few years away.
