President Trump issued his first veto on Thursday after the Senate voted to block the president’s national emergency declaration with a dozen Senate Republicans joining Democrats in voting for the resolution. FOX’s Senior Capitol Hill producer Chad Pergram joins Jared to discuss.

President Trump announced this week the FAA is grounding all Boeing 737 Max 8 jets following the decision of many countries around the world who already grounded the planes. The decision follows the Ethiopian Airlines crash that killed 157 people on Sunday, the second recent deadly crash of a Boeing 737 MAX 8. Former NTSB Chairman Jim Hall weighs in on the FAA’s decision.

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort will serve seven and a half years in prison for foreign lobbying and witness tampering. Following his second sentence this week, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office announced an indictment of Manafort on new charges including mortgage fraud. FOX’s Washington Correspondent Rachel Sutherland discusses Manafort’s latest sentencing with FOX’s Justice Department producer Jake Gibson.

Former Democratic Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke announced his presidential bid this week, joining the already crowded Democratic presidential field. Meanwhile it’s still unclear if or when former Vice President Joe Biden is going to announce his run for president in 2020. Democratic political analyst Mary Anne Marsh joins Jared to weigh in.
