The Pentagon was taken by surprise this week after President Trump announced his decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria, paving the way for Turkey to go after Kurdish fighters in the region who helped the U.S battle ISIS. The decision was met with bipartisan backlash, including some of the president’s biggest defenders. FOX’s Washington Correspondent Rachel Sutherland discusses the decision with FOX’s Pentagon correspondent Lucas Tomlinson.
A tweet by the Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey supporting protesters in Hong Kong has caused a widespread dispute and has compromised the NBA’s strong business relationship with China. Next week, the fourth-round presidential primary debate, will be held in Westerville, Ohio. Twelve candidates have qualified, meeting the polling and fundraising criteria, the largest in presidential primary history.
