THIS WEEK:

President Trump is taking a victory lap following Attorney General William Barr’s four-page summary of Robert Mueller’s report, stating the special counsel found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians during the 2016 presidential election. FOX’s White House Correspondent Jon Decker weighs in on the White House reaction.

President Trump isn’t giving up on repealing and replacing Obamacare. This week the Justice Department filed in federal court it’s argument that the entire Affordable Care Act should be struck down as unconstitutional. Despite President Trump’s push to keep one of his biggest campaign promises, many Republicans are split on whether to get behind the president on this. FOX’s Senior Capitol Hill producer Chad Pergram joins Jared to discuss.

This week Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan approved the transfer of one-billion dollars to build 57-miles of the  southern border wall. The decision was faced with criticism from both Republicans and Democrats who claim using a national emergency to tap into already appropriated funds is unconstitutional. FOX’s Pentagon and State Department producer Lucas Tomlinson joins FOX’s Washington Correspondent Rachel Sutherland to explain.

The Supreme Court heard two gerrymandering cases involving North Carolina and Maryland earlier this week. After the hearing the arguments there were clear divides amongst justices. FOX’s Supreme Court producer Bill Mears joins the podcast.
