As the government shutdown continues over funding for the wall on the Southern border, President Trump raised the possibility of declaring a national emergency. On Thursday, President Trump spent his day on the U.S. – Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley, near one of the busiest border crossings in the country. The President’s pick to replace Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, William Barr, will face tough confirmation hearings next week as rumors swirl that Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein is planning an exit from the Justice Department in the coming weeks.
