To those who walked by, the Oxford Apartments in Milwaukee, Wisconsin appeared to be a well-kept building within an otherwise rundown neighborhood. However, the residents inside had complaints of putrid stenches and strange sounds coming from apartment 213. It wasn’t until the night of July 22, 1991, that the horrors inside would be revealed, and the apartment’s tenant would gain nationwide notoriety. He was none other than Jeffrey Dahmer.
Retired Captain with the Milwaukee Police Department Michael Dubis was at the scene at the time of Dahmer’s arrest. He describes the shocking sights he uncovered in the search of his apartment, and later shares how the case left a lasting impact on him to this very day.
