Greta & Allyson McKnight – A Sad Tale… but Help is On The Way!
Greta van Susteren has been chasing down the stories behind human trafficking lately. She’s been trying to find out why this horrible plague is able to persist, even today. On a recent trip to Southeast Asia, she found Allyson McKnight, who has been working on the problem for Samaritan’s Purse, a charity backed by Rev. Franklin Graham, among others. McKnight has become a real expert on the topic, and she sat down for a Greta Talk in Hanoi recently.
Allyson McKnight is the Anti-Trafficking Program Manager for Samaritan’s Purse in Vietnam. Her efforts are aimed at decreasing the risk of human trafficking for those living in remote areas through education and awareness programs. Currently, Samaritan’s Purse is conducting campaigns in 40 villages in provinces throughout Vietnam.
