Way too much pressure with Valentine’s Day approaching.
And to make matters worse, it’s a Saturday night this year! That means if you haven’t made a restaurant reservation yet, forget it.
I’ve got a better idea. I say stay in, relax, order some pizza and pair it with some great wines.
So much more fun!
We went through all different kinds of pizza and Jess made some really intriguing wine selections.
But since it was a party so we had to eat. So we ordered a bunch of slices: a plain, sausage, black olive and a slice of white pizza.
And she brought some wines. A chianti, a cabernet, and something way different — a white blend from the Rhone region of France (50% Marsanne grapes, 50% Roussanne grapes – trust me, I never heard of those grapes either!)
