Way too much pressure with Valentine's Day approaching. 

And to make matters worse, it's a Saturday night this year! That means if you haven't made a restaurant reservation yet, forget it.

I've got a better idea. I say stay in, relax, order some pizza and pair it with some great wines.

And I got to have a pre-Valentine's pizza party with one of the greatest sommeliers in NYC, Jessica Certo - @sommjesscerto, the uber-personable wine director at Del Frisco's Steakhouse.

We went through all different kinds of pizza and Jess made some really intriguing wine selections.


But since it was a party so we had to eat. So we ordered a bunch of slices: a plain, sausage, black olive and a slice of white pizza.

And she brought some wines. A chianti, a cabernet, and something way different -- a white blend from the Rhone region of France (50% Marsanne grapes, 50% Roussanne grapes - trust me, I never heard of those grapes either!)
