Greta & Bruno – Welcome to Myanmar!

She’s off on another adventure – this time, the host of On the Record is in Myanmar (or Burma, as it used to be called). It’s a country that has been largely closed to the West for many years. Americans, and American culture, are still quite rare there. So for this edition of Greta Talk, Greta sits down – literally sits – in the back seat of her car with her tour guide, Bruno.

We should tell you that Bruno’s accent is sometimes difficult… but he’s worth listening to, as Greta asks him about life in his own country… about why it’s called Myanmar instead of Burma, and especially about what he knows about America, our politicians and our movie stars. Who’s better known there, Kardashian or Stallone?  The answers will surprise and amuse you.
