DNC Day 3 Preview
The Democratic National Convention comes to a close tonight with President Obama’s acceptance speech, just not in the location he’d planned on.
FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson reports from the DNC in Charlotte:
It’s back to the basketball arena for the final night instead of the football stadium here in the “Queen City”, officials citing the fear of severe weather. Regardless of the venue, delegates are very clear about what they hope to hear from the President.
(Delegate) “They have to hear from him that, even though the economy is sluggish right now, it’s better than it was four years ago.”
President Clinton helped set the table for that argument forcefully telling the convention that no President could have fully repaired the damage to the economy in just four years. But, Republicans have been reminding voters that President Obama said if he couldn’t, he shouldn’t get a second term.
