Mixed Feelings over Gun Shows
Gun shows will be popping up along the country again. But there are some mixed emotions from people about having them in their town.
FOX’s Eben Brown has this week’s “Bullet Points”:

Gun shows are making their rounds again, and some report higher than usual attendance for summer meetups.
Attendees cite a need to arm themselves as reasons for going out:
(Man) “It’s possible the laws are gonna change, so I wanted to have one before the laws change.”
(Woman) “Got me to think about, and getting more comfortable around guns and learning how to shoot. I still don’t like the idea of owning one, but I would like to feel secure and protected.”
But some towns are putting the pressure on gun shows. Fort Lauderdale Vice Mayor Dean Trantalis wants shows to stop selling those AR-15’s:
(Trantalis) ”I thought it was an opportunity for us, to try to do our job, in order to make sure that we can avoid assault weapons being proliferated around the community.”
Some other cities are hoping to pressure gun shows to leave town. Saratoga Springs, New York, the city council wants the local civic center not to give gun show promoters any more space.
And those are your Bullet Points, I’m Eben Brown, FOX News.
