Admiral James Stavridis (Ret), former Supreme Allied Commander at NATO, member of the Carlyle Group, and author of the new book “Sailing True North: Ten Admirals and the Voyage of Character”, spoke with Brian Kilmeade about the shooting at Naval Air Station in Pensacola. Stavridis agrees with Congressman Gaetz who is calling for a suspension of our program with Saudi Arabia. When asked if it is time to allow all troops on military bases to be armed, Stavridis saidwe need to take a step back before we rush to change the rules. Admiral Stavridis also addressed the reports that there was a lack of candor coming from top U.S. officials about the prospects of success in Afghanistan. Stavridis said none of the top military commanders would ever go out and lie because the American people deserve to know the whole story on Afghanistan.
