California has a spike in firearm sales.

FOX's Eben Brown has that and more on "FOX Bullet Points":

I'm Eben Brown.

Firearms retailers are having a great week in California, but it isn't a Christmas buying rush. The new state law comes into effect January 1, enacting a 10-day wait period, banning higher capacity magazines and semi-automatic rifles with 'bullet buttons', the quick magazine release and reload feature. People are trying to buy things up before they can't.

Dateline: Aventura, Florida between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, with a skyline of skyrise condos. Uber driver Namique Anderson was on the job when a van pulled out in front him, and a guy jumps out. Police sergeant Chris Goranitis:

(Goranitis) "He had two firearms in his hand. He pointed them at the Uber driver, and he made some demands to the driver, and threatened to shoot him if he didn't provide him with those demands."

But Namique took out his own sidearm. Shot the attacker dead. No charges filed. Namique had a valid concealed carry permit and acted in self-defense.

And those are your Bullet Points. I'm Eben Brown, FOX News.
