A heated meeting between police and civilians in San Francisco, following the fatal police shooting of a homeless man armed with a knife.
FOX's Gary Baumgarten reports:
A call for the resignation of police chief Greg Suhr after he defended the action of his cops.
Among those blasting the police, David Compos, who is on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors:
(Compos) "You are telling people this is what we think happened. How can you say that chief when the investigation is still ongoing? I ask SFPD stop putting out facts until your own investigation is completed because it is actually doing a disservice to this department."
Suhr says cops first shot 45-year-old Luis Gongora with bean bag rounds. Then fired their guns when he lunged at them with the knife.
