1. SC Governor Nikki Haley Signs Bill to Remove Confederate Flag from Statehouse

Both the South Carolina Senate and House voted to remove the Confederate flag from Capitol grounds this week. The bill was signed by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley on Thursday. And the flag was removed on Friday. Disney World also removed Confederate imagery from their Epcot theme park.
