Females in the United States Are Waiting Longer to Become Mothers
Women in the United States continue to wait longer before becoming mothers.
FOX’s Eben Brown reports:
The average age an American woman becomes a mom has been going up since the start of the millennium, says the National Center for Health Statistics…
They’ve released new data from an ongoing survey. Back in Y2K, the average age of a new mom was just under 25. As of 2014, the average age is slightly older than 26…
But depending on who the moms are, the age might be older or younger. Women of Asian or Pacific islander descent were, on-average, having their first child at nearly 30-years-old. Native American and Alaskan women are becoming moms at 23.
