Employees of Inland Regional Center Return to Work For First Time Since Attacks

Employees are reporting to work at Inland Regional Center again for the first time since a terror attack last month.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has the story:

For the last month, nearly 600 workers in San Bernardino haven’t been able to go to their office building, but that hasn’t stopped some of them from doing their jobs.

Many of the counselors who work at the Inland Regional Center have been visiting the homes of the people they help, autistic children and mentally disabled adults.

The IRC as it’s known, was the site where 14 people were killed in a terror attack by a husband and wife.

Lavinia Johnson is the executive director there…

(Johnson) “As you can imagine, it has been a very difficult time for us, and we are very glad to be back in our IRC home.”

The conference center where the attack took place will remain closed indefinitely.
