Two Milwaukee Police Officers Blame A Gun Store For Injuries
A Milwaukee jury resumes deliberations in a rare case of two police officers who blame a gun store for their injuries.
FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:
Officers Graham Kunisch and Bryan Norberg were shot in the face and severely injured in 2009 by a suspect who bought the gun secondhand, a straw purchase from a friend who bought the gun for him at Badger Guns of West Milwaukee.
The officers lawyer argued in court Monday…
(Lawyer) “If Badger Guns had done its job, then Bryan and Graham would not have been shot.”
But defense lawyers for Badger Guns say their clients were deceived by the straw buyer and shouldn’t be held liable. The officers are asking for millions of dollars in damages.
The man who shot them is serving 80 years in prison.
