Poll: 75 Percent of Americans Don’t Believe in Republican Health Care Bill

A new poll shows a majority of Americans do not like the House-passed Republican health care bill.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

The Kaiser Health Tracking Poll finds 75-percent of Americans do not believe the American Health Care Act fulfills most of President Trump’s promises. It also finds most believe the bill would raise costs and make it harder to access quality health care.

The majority of those polled want the U.S. Senate to change the legislation, or get rid of it. Congress is on recess this week. The Senate is expected to take up health care soon, and it’s likely that the upper chamber will write its own bill.
