Protesters Make Their Voices Heard Throughout Republican Town Halls – Prompts President Trump Tweet

Congress is on break, and many lawmakers are getting an earful from constituents at town halls and other events.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell took questions from angry constituents in Kentucky while protesters made their voices heard outside:

(Protesters) “Mitch McConnell take our coal… No ban… No wall…”

One woman shouted at McConnell, asking what he’s doing about sick coal miners saying: “If you can answer any of that I’ll sit down and shut up like Elizabeth Warren”.

McConnell kept his cool throughout the event:

(McConnell) ”Why are they protesting? They don’t like the results of the election.”

The President tweeted, “The so-called angry crowds in home districts of some Republicans are actually, in numerous cases, planned out by liberal activists. Sad!”
