Report: Facebook is in Talks with the MLB to Livestream Games During Season

Baseball fans could soon have a new way to watch the boys of summer.

FOX’s Tom Graham explains:

Facebook is finding a new use for it’s going live feature: Baseball. The social media giant is in talks with
Major League Baseball to stream at least one game a week, according to Reuters.

It’s still unclear exactly which games would be live. Facebook and Twitter have been competing for the rights to livestream sporting events. Twitter featured NFL and college football games during the 2016 season.

Facebook already has a deal with Univision to livestream Mexican soccer matches during the 2017 season.
