Academy Awards ‘Best Original Song’ Preview

The Oscars will feature more than just the year’s best movies… Musical acts are nominated for the prestigious award as well.

FOX’s Ashley Dvorkin has the details in this “Oscars Preview”:

The ‘Best Original Song’ category includes music superstars…
Justin Timberlake, along with Max Martin and Karl Johan Schuster, nominated for their catchy dance-along tune ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ from ‘Trolls’…

“Hamilton”‘s Lin Manuel Miranda receives his first Oscar nod for ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from the animated tale ‘Moana’…

Sting and J. Ralph are nominated for the powerful song ‘The Empty Chair’ which played at the end of the HBO documentary ‘Jim: The James Foley Story’…

Plus there are two nods for one of the year’s big Oscar front-runners ’La La Land’, as both ‘City of Stars’ and ‘Audition (The Fools Who Dream)’ were recognized thanks to the work of Justin Hurwitz, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul.
