Beginning in 1989, Florida was terrorized by ‘The Damsel of Death,’ a serial killer by the name of Aileen Wuornos. Wuornos killed seven men during her 12-month spree, becoming the first woman to be profiled as a serial killer by the FBI. But how was the monster created?

Retired Chester Police Chief Brian Jarvis was one of the lead detectives who investigated Aileen Wuornos. He looks back at his work on the case and shares what it was like to hunt down one of America’s most notorious serial killers.
