From Washington: D.C. Bipartisanship Begins And States Mask Mandates End

After living with the pandemic for two years, states across the country are beginning to remove their Covid mandates.  But as some state governments lift mask requirements for schools and businesses, the CDC has warned that this move was made prematurely.  Senior Director of Special Pathogens for NYC Health and Hospitals, Dr. Syra Madad joins Jared to discuss the CDC’s record of confusing guidelines, the importance of adapting to the virus quickly, and ways to empower state and local leaders to handle the virus with proper resources.

This week was a great week for bipartisanship on Capitol Hill as Congress passed employment legislation, postal service reform and reached a deal to fund the government for at least another month.  Now Democrats and Republicans alike are joining forces on legislation that would ban Congress members and potentially their families from trading stocks.  FOX News Congressional Correspondent, Chad Pergram joins Jared to discuss the issues on the table.
