His coverage was widely praised as he spoke to people on the ground as they tried to flee the country, find lost family members of cope with the food crisis. He also spent some of his time Afghanistan talking directly with members of the Taliban as they took control. Yingst, who is also the host of The FOX News Rundown: Evening Edition, describes his experience in the country, what it was like communicating and traveling with the Taliban and what life is like for a news correspondent embedded in a highly volatile war zone.
