Evening Edition: President Biden Unaware Of France ‘Submarine Spat’

A few weeks ago the United States, Australia and Britain announced a partnership for the Indo-Pacific region that would make it possible for Australia to acquire U.S. nuclear-powered submarines and canceled a forty billion dollar deal to buy French made submarines. This has made France angry, to say the least, and now the United States State Department has been trying to repair the relationship. FOX’s John Saucier speaks to FOX’s Rich Edson, at the State Department, about the department’s efforts to mend relations with France and comments by Former Secretary of State John Kerry saying President Biden was unaware of the disagreement.
