President Trump pardoned close to a dozen people this week including former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, former owner of the San Francisco 49ers Edward DeBartolo Junior, former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik and more. Jared discusses this week’s slew of pardons with FOX’s White House Correspondent Jon Decker and who may be next in line for a presidential pardon.
President Trump announced that Richard Grenell, U.S. ambassador to Germany will become acting Director of National Intelligence, the announcement was met with critics questioning the ambassadors experience or qualifications for the position. Jared discusses the president’s controversial pick with former CIA Chief of Station and Fox News contributor Dan Hoffman.
Democrats and Republicans don’t agree on much these days but they are coming together in their opposition of the Chinese tech giant Huawei. The U.S. has accused the Chinese tech company of spying on its customers for years. FOX’s Washington Correspondent Rachel Sutherland discusses the Huawei controversy and the latest on the deadly coronavirus with Gordon Chang, author of “The Coming Collapse of China.”
The Nevada Caucus is this weekend and 36 delegates are stake for Democratic candidates. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will not be participating in this weekend’s Caucus or next week’s primary in South Carolina. Although, he did participate in the debate in Las Vegas this week. FOX’s West Coast Correspondent Jessica Rosenthal was at the debate this week and recaps some of the key takeaways.
