Kenny Chesney is Helping Victims of Hurricane Irma
A country star helping victims of Hurricane Irma.
FOX’s Krystin Goodwin has the details:
Country star Kenny Chesney’s home on the U.S. Virgin island of St. John was destroyed by Hurricane Irma. The singer was not there when the storm hit, but took to Twitter to share photos of the destruction.
He says, “I’ve never been to war, but the devastation, the people’s faces in a place I know by heart have left me feeling helpless. It’s total devastation.”
In response, Chesney set up ‘Love for Love City,’ a relief foundation aimed to help residents in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands get back on their feet.
Donations can be made on Chesney’s website.
