Loretta Lynn Is Making Progress After Suffering a Stroke

Country icon Loretta Lynn is doing great. Lynn was moved to a rehab facility following a stroke on May 4. The update posted on her website saying, “Loretta wants to thank everybody for their prayers, love and support.” Lynn is expected to make a full recovery, however in order to do so, she had to cancel all her upcoming shows while she recuperates.
Lynn’s sister, Crystal Gayle, also shared updates via social media and several country stars, including Garth Brooks and Jennifer Nettles, have also taken to social media to share their love and support.
The Grand Ole Opry’s annual ‘Salute the Troops’ concert is set for May 23, with Chris Young and Charlie Daniels among the lineup. Honoring the veterans of Operation Desert Storm, also taking the stage, Trace Adkins, Terri Clark and Dailey & Vincent.
And congrats to Brantley Gilbert and his wife, Amber, who is three months pregnant with the couple’s first child after trying to conceive for nearly two years.
