A country star makes a special visit to a fan in the hospital... and... the Kenny Rogers all star final performance show.

FOX's Michelle Pollino has the early scoop with today's "FOX Country":

I'm Michelle Pollino.

Country singer Zac Brown made a special stop at a hospital in Philadelphia to visit a fan who missed one of his shows. 17-year-old Thomas Schoettle hit his head and injured his neck last month after diving into the pool. Schoettle is paralyzed. He missed Brown's concert Saturday, so the country star did the next best thing, took a helicopter to Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern:

(Schoettle) "Oh my God, I was going to come last night."

Brown autographed several items and visited with hospital staff and gave Schoettle tickets to next year's show.

Kenny Rogers brings his longtime pal Dolly Parton to celebrate on stage one final time for "All in for the Gambler: Kenny Rogers' Farewell Concert" celebration. He's retiring from touring, his final performance with Parton will be part of an all-star farewell show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena Oct. 25.

Little Big Town, Flaming Lips, Alison Krauss and more join in the celebration.
