Judge Neil Gorsuch Has a Hearing Date Set

If confirmed, Judge Neil Gorsuch gets a lifetime term on the Supreme Court. A date is now set for the Senate to start considering that offer.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more on Capitol Hill:

Hearings for Judge Neil Gorsuch will begin on March 20 in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The Senate has confirmed by a narrow 51-49 margin.

Congressman Mick Mulvaney to serve as the President’s budget chief, a near party-line tally. Republican John McCain voted no, critical of Mulvaney’s support of defense spending cuts.

A confirmation vote is expected tomorrow for President Trump’s choice to run the EPA, another nominee without unanimous Republican support, Maine GOP Senator Susan Collins says she and Scott Pruitt disagree on the role of the agency.
