UN Sec. General Wants to Discuss Climate Change with Mr. Trump

    The Secretary General of the United Nations is weighing in on climate change and President-elect Trump.

    FOX’s Jessica Golloher reports from the Mideast bureau:

    On social media, President-elect Donald Trump has called climate change a hoax. During his campaign, Mr. Trump also promised to cancel the landmark Paris climate agreement.

    Speaking at his last U.N. climate conference in Morocco, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:

    (Ki-moon) “As the President of the United States, I am sure that he will understand this (the reality of climate change and the world’s acceptance of the importance of combating it), he will listen and he will evaluate his campaign remarks.”

    Ban adding he hopes Mr. Trump understands the urgency of the problem and hopes to discuss it with the President-elect in person.
