Putin: Russia Is Not Interfering with U.S. Election

Is Russia interfering in the U.S. presidential election? The man at the top says no.

FOX’s Simon Owen reports from the European bureau:

Vladimir Putin protesting his innocence. The Russian President rejecting claims that Russia is trying to sway the election…

He says hysteria has broken out in the United States about Russia’s influence on the vote. The U.S. government has accused Russia of directing a campaign of cyber-attacks on Democratic Party targets, in a bid to interfere.

But speaking to a meeting of political scientists, Putin saying… Does anyone seriously think Russia can somehow influence the choice of the U.S. people?

He says the allegations are designed to distract American voters from real issues.
