Sparks Fly at VP Debate
So how did the Vice Presidential candidates do in their one and only debate?
FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports:
Republican Mike Pence and Democrat Tim Kaine were no wall flowers during the scrappy 90-minute debate here in Farmville.
Both passionately defended their running mates and bickered over who’s running the nastier campaign:
(Pence & Kaine) “Avalanche of insults coming out of Senator Kaine a minute ago…. These were Donald’s… hold on it’s my time, Senator.”
Kaine said Hillary Clinton has apologized before, unlike Donald Trump:
(Pence & Kaine) “She said she shouldn’t have said… Governor this is Senator Kaine’s two minutes please…. Yeah so now we’re even.”
Both candidates ignored many of moderator’s questions as she fought unsuccessfully to keep the debate on the rails.
