Ford Recall Under Investigation

U.S. safety regulators are investigating whether a recall of Ford F-150 pickup trucks for brake failures should be expanded.

    FOX’s Jeff Monosso reports:

Ford recalled 271,000 2013-to-2014 six-cylinder F-150’s because brake fluid could leak from the master cylinder and cause brake failure and now investigators are looking into whether or not 2015-to-2016 models should be recalled.

After the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it’s gotten over two dozen complaints, alleging sudden brake loss in the trucks. No crashes or injuries reported.

This the third investigation of Ford vehicles announced since Monday, including power steering problems with the 2010 Ford Fusion and door latch troubles with the 2011 to 2013 Ford Edge.
