Want Some Free Shares? One Phone Company is Offering Them

    One cellphone carrier is making an offer no other mobile carrier is, some free shares in their company.

    FOX’s Lilian Woo reports:

    T-Mobile wants people to subscribe to its wireless network and to make it more appealing, they’ll even throw in a stake in the company.

    The wireless carrier’s stock up plan offers a free share of T-Mobile U.S. common stock to any primary account holder with a consumer voice account… There are also free shares being offered for customer referrals.

    The shares trading around $43 a piece. The number three wireless carrier in the nation has gained at least a million wireless net subscribers for 12 straight quarters.
