Chris Stapleton is having a good year… From his big show-stopping performance and his awards at this year’s CMA’s to receiving four nods at this year’s Grammy’s and getting the nomination for the night’s biggest award, Album of the Year for “Traveler”.
Little Big Town‘s “Pain Killer” album is the gift that keeps on giving as “Girl Crush” gets the nod for the coveted Song of the Year.
And how about that Sam Hunt who will be vying for Best New Artist.
The three country acts also make appearances in the Grammy’s Country-specific categories, as well as Ashley Monroe, Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Joey + Rory… getting a surprise nod for Duo and/or Group for their song “If I Needed You”. The couple have been sharing their brave and very emotional journey with the world as Joey deals with Stage 4 cancer.
You can see a complete list of nominees on their website. The 2016 Grammys will air live on Monday, February 15.
