Following a meeting with his national security team on Thursday, President Obama spoke about the situation in Iraq.  The President isn't ruling out military action at this point and has decided to send in 300 additional advisers to the country.

Secretary of State John Kerry will also head to the Middle East next week in response to the crisis.
