Tony Stewart Gets Cover Of NASCAR Video Game
The makers of the NASCAR video game series say a driver, who sat out much of the last season after a crash left him injured, will be on the cover of the game’s next edition.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:
NASCAR driver Tony Stewart doesn’t tweet… But his fans tweeted enough to convince video game makers Deep Silver to chose him for the cover of “NASCAR ’14” – the next edition of their NASCAR-inspired racing game.
The company says a Twitter poll on which driver should grace the new game’s box ended with Stewart getting nearly 70% of the tweet votes. Stewart says he’s humbled considering he hasn’t raced since breaking his leg in a crash last August, though he’s expected to race in February’s Daytona 500.
