Paula Deen Speaks On Controversy

Update: Walmart announced on Wednesday that the company is dropping Paula Deen.

Paula Deen speaking out amid the fall out over the celebrity chef’s admission to using a racial slur.

FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:

She if she had to do it all over again she’d still admit to it, using the “N-word” one time in her life, some 30 years ago. But Paula Deen telling the “Today Show”, she’s no racist.

(Deen) “I have never, with any intention, hurt anybody on purpose, and I never would.”

The queen of southern cooking dropped by the Food Network and a major sponsor in the wake of the admission in a deposition in a discrimination lawsuit by a former employee who’s white.

(Deen) “There’s someone evil out there that saw what I had worked for and they wanted it.”

Deen telling NBC, she’s heartbroken.
