Opening statements happening Monday in the trial of George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman accused of murdering teen Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports from Sanford Florida:

After a fiery open by prosecutors quoting the F-word multiple times, George Zimmerman’s defense team is introducing their self-defense theory to the six woman jury.

(West) “George Zimmerman is not guilty of murder. He shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense after being viciously attacked.”

Though attorney Don West began with a show of sympathy towards Trayvon Martin’s parents, saying they have every right to grieve.
