Paul Ryan is officially the GOP nominee for Vice President, as he accepted the party's nomination during his headlining speech on Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention.
Before he took to the stage, a who's-who of the Republican Party took to the stage for a second consecutive night, drumming up support and trying to win over voters at home.
FOX News Radio's Eben Brown has more on the night's earlier speakers:
(Delegates Chanting) "No more years!"
Those are the delegates chanting "no more years" for President Barack Obama, as more and more of the speakers turn their remarks to calling for the President's ouster on Election Day, including former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty.
(Pawlenty) "Good evening, everyone, and welcome to Barack Obama's retirement party!"
Then came the man they waited for all night.
FOX News Radio's Eben Brown reports from the RNC in Tampa:
Paul Ryan's entrance sparked the delegates here at the Tampa Bay Times Forum to their feet - they would do it more and more as his talk continued. First, ridiculed the President for ignoring his own records and his negative campaigning.
(Ryan) "With all their attack ads, the President is just throwing away money, and he's pretty experienced at that!"
And all during his speech, key points would be tweeted along from Ryan's official VP candidacy account (@PaulRyanVP).
