North Korea Agrees to Suspend Nuclear Activities, Says U.S.

    The United States said Wednesday that North Korea has agreed to suspend nuclear activities in negotiations.

    It’s a food for inspections deal.

    The secretive North Korean regime agrees to suspend uraniam enrichment and halt long-range missile tests.

    State Department Spokesperson Victoria Nuland also announcing North Korea will allow international atomic energy inspectors to confirm the disablement of a nuclear reactor.

    In exchange, the U.S. will meet with the North to finalize a proposed pacakge of 240,000 metic tons of food aid.
