For some men, delaying prostate cancer treatment might be the best course of action.

FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in today’s “Housecall for Health”:

Men with low-risk prostate cancer may want to wait before treating it, according to a new report from the National Institutes of Health. The N.I.H. feels so strongly about men avoiding the potential side effects of immediate treatment that they are considering dropping the name “cancer” from the early stage of the disease, making it easier for men to accept that monitoring for changes may be a better approach.
