Amping Up Airport Security is a Top Priority

Homeland Security officials are announcing new security measures for flights arriving in the United States from around the world.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Airports with flights coming into the U.S. have a choice: upgrade security, or laptops and other larger electronics may not be allowed in passenger cabins.

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly warned this was coming last week at a national security forum on Capitol Hill:

(Kelly) “My desire is that all airports raise their minimum security to the level that we say it should be.”

Ten airports at Middle Eastern nations are already under laptop restrictions.
