Donald Trump & Megyn Kelly – The Interview!
Months after the sparks flew between presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly at that memorable first GOP debate, the two sat down and cleared the air in an interview broadcast nationally on FOX TV.
FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has more on the segment featured on “Megyn Kelly Presents”:
Donald Trump was pretty blunt when it came to describing the stakes of the 2016 race:
(Trump) “If I don’t go all the way and if I don’t win, I will consider it to be a total and complete waste of time, energy and money.”
On “Megyn Kelly Presents” he also talked about the public feud between them that started back in August during the FOX News Republican debate when she asked him about his history with women:
(Trump) “I tell you what, in a certain way, what you did might have been a favor. I felt so good about having gotten through. I said ‘if I can get through this debate with those questions, you can get through anything’.”
He said while he does have some regrets about the campaign, he said if he hadn’t conducted himself that way in the primaries, he would’t have come out on top.
