No Trial for Trump Campaign Manager with Reporter Michelle Fields

The campaign manager for Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump will not face a trial, even though police in Florida charged him with misdemeanor battery for forcefully grabbing a female reporter at a campaign event.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:

There will be no trial for Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, charged by police in Jupiter, Florida, with misdemeanor battery after a security camera video shows him grabbing and pulling reporter Michelle Fields as she alleged both in social media and in an eventual police report.

Fields was attending a primary night event at Trump’s golf club in Jupiter. She even tweeted out photos of bruises she alleged were Lewandowski’s fault. The incident sparked both a verbal and Twitter argument between Fields and the Trump campaign. Fields now says she plans to sue Lewandowski.
