Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Presidential Race: ‘I Hear Fearful Voices Calling for Building Walls’
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had some choice words for current world leaders at the F8 Global Developer conference on Tuesday, and those who want to become them.
FOX’s Jessica Rosenthal explains:
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg took a not so veiled swipe at Donald Trump, but also other world leaders with his comments kicking off the annual F8 Global Developer conference in San Francisco.
Zuckerberg says he travels around the world and sees people and countries turning inward against connectivity and globalism:
(Zuckerberg) “I hear fearful voices calling for building walls and distancing people they label as others for blocking free expression, for slowing immigration, reducing trade, and in some places around the world even cutting access to the internet.”
He did say the future of Facebook includes more use of A-I, chat bots that will help businesses connect with consumers, and easier live streaming from drones and other devices.
